It has become Bowler tradition to go ice skating and/or skiing during Christmas vacation. We took everyone, including Nick, to the Coyote Ice Rink in Tempe to go skating. Nick had never skated on ice before and stopped counting after 20 times falling. Martin never admited how often he fell. What was so amazing that he said he had been ice skating in Dubai, which is in the desert just like Phoenix. You'd think that in the cold German climate there would be skating rinks. We had lunch at El Pollo Loco before the activity.
